Find Your Balance

Giving parents the choice

Brief

Idea

Find Your Balance

Insight

A CELEBRATION OF MODERN BRITISH FAMILY LIFE
This is a sensitive subject so we needed to hit the right note. We insisted on no actors and no location houses. By shooting three genuine families at home, we captured real family dynamics impossible to fake. Along with a diverse cast, this made the spots immediately believable and relatable.

SCHOOL'S OUT. CREATORS IN.
During the school holidays, some of the biggest UK parenting creators shared their own online wellbeing advice using Google's family safety tools. Creators included Candice Braithwaite, Nigel Clarke of CBeebies, DadLab, Adrienne Adhami, and comedians the Scummy Mummies.

GETTING WINNING RESULTS FROM CREATORS
We created the treatment, briefed each creator with shooting guidance, and gave direction for authentic content that showcased the product in a genuinely helpful way for stressed parents over the
summer holidays.

SWEATING THE ASSETS
OLV retargeting reached parents who watched the 40” with pre-rolls and cutdowns.

PARENTS IN THE HALLS OF POWER
In partnership with the online safety charity ParentZone, we launched a nationwide art prize giving kids the chance to visit parliament at an event bringing families, parents, Googlers and MPs together to talk family safety.

BEYOND THE UK
With the success of the UK campaign, Google repeated the idea in Europe the following year, taking Find Your Balance to France, Türkiye and Sweden
